A Technical Skilling Institute for children in Uganda will be a training and development project aimed at equipping vulnerable and disadvantaged children with practical vocational and technical skills for self-reliance. The institute will provide a supportive learning environment where people will gain hands-on training in trades such as carpentry, tailoring, mechanics, electrical installation, computer skills, agriculture, and other income-generating activities.

The institute will aim to empower children and youth especially orphans and those from low-income families by giving them opportunities to learn valuable skills that will help them secure employment, start small businesses, and build sustainable livelihoods. Alongside technical training, the institute will also offer basic education support, life-skills development, mentorship, and character-building programs to prepare learners for responsible adulthood.

By investing in skills development, the Technical Skilling Institute will help reduce unemployment, poverty, and vulnerability among young people in Uganda, while enabling them to become productive members of their communities and contribute to local economic growth.
